Hello, I am Tammy Morath and I am board-certified in clinical sexology as well as in transgender care. I graduated with honors from Nova Southeastern University with Masters of Science degrees in both Advanced Applied Behavior Analysis and Psychology. Throughout my over 11-years in private practice, I have successfully utilized varying therapy modalities to help hundreds of individuals and couples improve their lives and strengthen their relationships.
Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I was a registered nurse. My philosophy is that each of us, at one time or another, finds themself in a corner they just cannot get out of on their own. My goal is to help you find your own internal expert and strengths needed for you to overcome life’s challenges and live a healthier and more rewarding life. Throughout our collaboration, you will experience newfound feelings of empowerment and obtain the skills needed to maintain them.
My counseling style is inclusive and collaborative. I believe in treating everyone with empathy, respect, and kindness. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and cognitive processing therapy. I tailor the dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
I work with both individuals and couples ranging from anxiety/depression, trauma and relationship issues. I specialize in relationship problems and conflicts as well as infidelity repair, navigating open relationships, and kink/fetish. I also specialize in working with individuals with severe sexual trauma. Therapy can assist in strengthening your relationships. I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to meet your needs and assist you in attaining the personal growth you are striving to reach in a comfortable and supportive environment.
